De anställda får också veta var de vänder sig med frågor och hur de ansöker om sin tjänstepension. Du som arbetsgivare kan komplettera informationen med exempelvis egna rutiner och material kring vad som gäller hos just dig.

Your National Public Pension
Every year that you work and pay taxes, you earn into your national public pension through the pension fee.

Your occupational pension
As an employee you are covered by the governmental occupational pension agreement PA16. This means that we pay money towards into your occupational pension every month. PA 16 is a collective agreement that has been negotiated between the union organisations for government employees (OFR/S, P,O, Saco-S, Seko) together with the Swedish Agency for Government Employers.
There is two sections in the collective agreement for occupational pension. Generally you belong to section 1 if you are born 1988 or later and section 2 if you are born before 1988.

You can login at spv.se to Mina sidor to see the different parts of your occupational pension, the value and how they function. Mina sidor is only available in Swedish.

Life events that can change your occupational pension
Sometimes events in your life could change your occupational pension. For example, that could be when you start or end your employment, have new family relations or reduce working hours before retiring.

Time to retire
When you have made the decision to retire there are some things to consider. For example to inform your manager of your plan to retire. You could forecast your pension at minpension.se and plan how you want to take out your pension.
Minpension.se is only available in Swedish and to be able to login you need a Swedish Personal identification number.
Move abroad
If you move from Sweden there are some things to consider.
Report your new address
If you move abroad you need to report your new address to the Swedish Tax Agency. The address is then shared with to other state agencies, councils and regions.

When you live abroad
If you live abroad and your pension is paid out you need to annually send in a life certificate to SPV or the Swedish Pension Agency. A life certificate is a document that shows that the person living abroad is still alive.

Your money could be with different insurance companies. You need to apply for this part with the insurance company you have selected.

Kåpan Government Employees Pension Fund manages this part. Login at Kapan.se to apply, choose from which age you want payment to start and for how long you wish the pension to be paid out. There is also forms available in English. Mina sidor at Kapan.se is only available in Swedish and to be able to login you need a Swedish Personal identification number.
Kåpan Flex
Kåpan Government Employees Pension Fund manages this part. Login at Kapan.se to apply, choose from which age you want payment to start and for how long you wish the pension to be paid out. The defined benefit retirement pension
If you have a defined benefit retirement pension SPV will contact you about seven months before you reach your retirement age and will ask you if will keep on working or retire. If you want to retire earlier you need to contact SPV.

If you become long-term sick
When you are employed by the state and receive sjukersättning or aktivitetsersättning from Försäkringskassan you may have the right to additional benefits from Statens Tjänstepensionsverk, SPV. This benefit is called sick pension.

If you should pass away
When you are employed by the state you have benefits for your family if you should pass away, this would be survivors pension and group life insurance. You could also have repayment cover for parts of your occupational pension, which means that your family will receive your pension if you pass away.
